This pony is the center of my world. We have an amazing bond that you only find once in a lifetime. I could write an entire book about the journey we have taken together in the past year.
She has taught me things no push button horse ever could. I never have a dull moment with her, she is always keeping me on my toes. She has come from not letting me get near her with a saddle and rearing on the trails, to going bareback on the trails and letting my 1 1/2 year old niece ride her around
She does little things that make my heart melt -- like nickering to me when I go to catch her, pushing the gate open with her nose, ignoring her hay to spend time with me in her stall, and putting her nose to my face/shoulder and moving her nose back and forth.
Fiona has taught me more life lessons than any human ever did in all my 18 years. She has shown me that if you work hard for something you are really passionate about, it will pay off and it is the most rewarding thing in the universe.
I don't ever want to let her go, and I'm going to figure out a way to balance my life outside of horses with my equine life so I never have to.
